I have discovered I can write Blog entries in writely and then publish them via XML-RPC to my wordpress blog.

This does seem quite cool, as writely editor is far more advanced than wordpress allows.

However there are a load of downsides

  • The title didn’t get set
  • The categories aren’t set.

Nice idea though!

Hello wordpress world!

I have decided to finally upgrade the blogging software I have to wordpress (from Lifetype). This is because of the amount of SPAM I get on lifetype, hopefully this should be better.

The old blog is still here at http://www.gidley.co.uk/plog/. I have used wget to get a static HTML copy of it so that I can keep it.
